Talabat Mart, the grocery and retail arm of Talabat Egypt, the leading e-commerce technology platform in the Middle East and North Africa, has announced the establishment of the largest distribution center in the fast-moving consumer goods sector in the region within the Yemno East complex on the Cairo-Suez Road, covering an area of 22,405 square meters.
It is a world-class, EDGE-certified, environmentally friendly logistics center developed by Hassan Allam Facilities / AB Moller Capital and Agility, with the aim of developing a modern and sustainable logistics infrastructure for Talabat in Egypt and the region.
The center relies on a range of smart solutions and advanced technologies to ensure maximum operational efficiency, including state-of-the-art product picking systems, automated transport systems for highly efficient storage and retrieval of goods, and selective racking systems to maximize available storage space. The center has been designed with a huge capacity, enabling it to distribute up to 1.6 million items per day and more than 48 million items per month to cloud stores, which are expected to exceed 60 stores by the end of 2025, reflecting its ability to meet growing market demands with high efficiency.
