Dr. Khaled Abdel Ghaffar, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Health and Population, to discuss strengthening cooperation in healthcare automation and digital transformation. The discussions aimed to support Egypt’s national strategy toward building a more efficient and inclusive healthcare system, aligned with the objectives of Egypt’s Vision 2030 for digital transformation and smart health services.

During the meeting, Eng. Hazem Metwally, CEO of e& Egypt, presented the company’s latest technological solutions and its methodology in developing an advanced digital infrastructure that enables the delivery of high-quality healthcare services across Egypt.
The presentation emphasized extending the benefits of digital healthcare to remote and underserved areas to ensure equitable access to modern medical services.
The company also provided a detailed overview of its achievements in digital transformation and the expansion of technological infrastructure across key sectors.
Discussions included potential collaboration on developing a unified national health database to accurately record and store patient data and medical histories, empowering a data-driven healthcare system capable of making precise and timely treatment decisions. The meeting further addressed ways to enhance network and connectivity solutions within healthcare facilities to ensure higher efficiency and reliability.

The talks also explored investment opportunities in the digital health sector and potential joint projects aimed at enhancing the Egyptian market’s attractiveness for healthcare investments. The initiatives discussed would contribute to improving medical services, fostering innovation, and attracting global expertise, in line with the state’s direction toward supporting a digital economy and localizing technology.
