Vodafone Egypt today announced the appointment of Ayman El Saadany as Director of External Affairs and Rasha Hamdy as Director of Legal Affairs, effective October 1, 2025. The new appointments are part of the company’s leadership succession plan and are aimed at strengthening executive efficiency while expanding the scope of its external and legal functions.

Both El Saadany and Hamdy will join Vodafone Egypt’s Executive Committee and will report directly to Mohamed Abdallah, CEO and Managing Director of Vodafone Egypt, and Regional CEO for International Markets at Vodacom Group. The appointments follow Ayman Essam’s transition to his new role as Chief External Affairs Officer at Vodacom Group.

Currently serving as Head of Government Relations and Public Policy at Vodafone Egypt, El Saadany will now oversee a broad portfolio including regulatory affairs, public policy, government relations, external communications, sustainability, corporate security, and the Vodafone Egypt Foundation for Community Development. His new role underscores Vodafone Egypt’s strategy to strengthen stakeholder engagement and reinforce its contribution to Egypt’s digital transformation.

Meanwhile, Hamdy, who currently leads Vodafone Egypt’s Legal Affairs Division, will assume responsibility for contracts and legal advisory, compliance and governance, risk management, data privacy and protection, and dispute resolution. She will play a key role in enabling business operations while promoting corporate culture and governance in line with global best practices.

Vodafone Egypt emphasized that these appointments reflect its commitment to leadership succession planning, building institutional capabilities, and empowering top talent to support the company’s vision of delivering a better future for all.
