Based on Banque Misr’s keenness to support the state’s efforts to achieve financial inclusion, and in line with Egypt’s 2030 vision for sustainable development, the bank offered many free benefits and offers on the occasion of “World Youth Day” under the auspices of the Central Bank of Egypt. This comes from the bank’s belief in the importance of achieving financial inclusion to enable all segments of society to access financial products and services that meet their various needs, including savings accounts, current accounts, payment and transfer services, insurance, financing, and credit.
The bank is keen to provide many free benefits and offers that serve all customers, especially women and young people, as they are the largest segment of society, throughout the duration of the event, which runs from 1 to 15 August 2025. These include opening current and savings accounts (individuals) with exemption from account opening fees, minimum account opening requirements, and stamp duty (current and savings accounts in Egyptian pounds (standard and Islamic), completed accounts (current and savings, standard and Islamic), youth accounts, savings accounts, Egyptian pound/US dollar current accounts, in addition to the possibility of issuing a free instant debit card for accounts, and the possibility of obtaining a prepaid card exempt from issuance fees. Customers aged 15 to 21 can open accounts free of charge and issue a BM instant debit card free of charge under the youth programme. Upon subscribing to and activating the Banque Misr electronic wallet BM Wallet, 20% of the first financial transaction during the validity period will be refunded, subject to the applicable terms and conditions. Bank employees are present outside branches in many gathering places throughout the Arab Republic of Egypt during the validity period to promote the bank’s products and services.
Banque Misr is one of the first banks to contribute to financial education and inclusion since its launch in Egypt in 2014. The bank is always keen to participate in all initiatives and campaigns launched by the Central Bank of Egypt, foremost among which are campaigns to support financial inclusion, as well as supporting women by providing various financial services and supporting micro-entrepreneurs, which contributes significantly to supporting the Egyptian economy and raising the standard of living of individuals.
