Strong growth in SAIB’s loan and credit facilities portfolio at the end of June 2025, recording EGP 56.64 billion

with a growth rate of 43%

The results of the Arab International Banking Company (SAIB) showed strong growth in the loan and credit facilities portfolio (in local currency), with the loan and credit facilities portfolio (in local currency) reached EGP 56.64 billion at the end of June 2025, an increase of EGP 17.14 billion, with a growth rate of 43% compared to the end of June 2024, which reached EGP 39.5 billion.

On the other hand, customer deposits (in local currency) rose to EGP 93.4 billion at the end of June 2025, an increase of EGP 26.45 billion, with a growth rate of 40% compared to the end of June 2024, which reached EGP 66.95 billion.

In terms of income, total revenues during the first half of 2025 amounted to approximately EGP 3.945 billion (equivalent to USD 79.537 million), and net profit amounted to EGP 836 million (equivalent to USD 16.9 million).

These results are in line with SAIB’s strategy of focusing on expanding financing in the retail banking, corporate credit, syndicated loans and SME financing sectors, and providing the best service to its customers while offering various savings products tailored to all customer segments.

In line with the Central Bank of Egypt’s plan to promote financial inclusion, the bank is working to develop and increase the number of its branches, which currently stands at 43, in addition to increasing the number of ATMs as one of the most important and largest electronic channels available, with an ATM network of approximately 159 ATMs at the end of June 2025.

The bank continued its efforts in the field of community development by launching several initiatives and providing assistance and support to the most needy groups, which is a new addition to the series of efforts that the bank has been making for many years in the field of community service at all levels.
In the field of education: The bank signed a cooperation protocol with the Misr El-Kheir Foundation to support community schools in several governorates of the Republic, with the aim of preventing children from dropping out of education. The bank also sponsored five community schools in Luxor, Assiut and Minya.
In the field of health:The bank signed a cooperation protocol with the New World Charitable Foundation to provide free prosthetic devices to people with disabilities, with the aim of integrating them into society. It also signed a cooperation protocol with the Magdi Yacoub Heart Foundation to fund 14 operations at the Magdi Yacoub Global Heart Centre in Cairo.
The bank also donated to the Kasr Al-Aini Centre for Kidney Diseases and Transplantation by covering the cost of dialysis supplies for one year, in addition to providing financial support for the purchase of kidney and dialysis supplies for approximately 5,000 patients at Kasr Al-Aini Hospital. In addition, the bank provided medical examinations in six schools for approximately 3,600 children in cooperation with the Mervat Sultan Charitable Foundation. The cooperation includes conducting medical eye examinations for a number of public school students in the governorates of Assiut, Minya, Kafr El Sheikh, and Damanhour, as well as providing medicines, prescription glasses, and performing necessary surgeries.
As for social solidarity, the bank continues to support such initiatives that contribute to improving the lives of individuals, especially in the most needy areas. The bank sponsored the “Al-Azoma” initiative during the month of Ramadan in cooperation with the Egyptian Food Bank for the seventh consecutive year, and organised Ramadan meals during the holy month. In addition, it promotes sustainable development and contributes to improving the living standards of families in several governorates, with the number of beneficiaries reaching about 15,000 individuals in 2025.
The bank also participated in the Goodwill Caravans initiative for the second consecutive year to provide 1,500 cartons of food supplies to support the most vulnerable families across the country, as part of the 2025 Goodwill Caravan initiative, under the auspices of the Central Bank of Egypt and the Tahya Misr Fund.
In addition, the bank participated in the Eid Joy Initiative in cooperation with the Egyptian Clothing Bank, which aims to help the most needy families and bring joy to their hearts during Eid al-Fitr. The initiative included donations from bank employees of clothes, shoes, blankets, furniture, children’s toys and other items, which were placed in Al-Kasaa Bank donation boxes at the bank’s headquarters.
Through its participation in these initiatives, the bank affirms its commitment to promoting equality and providing equal opportunities for all members of society, including people with disabilities. It also highlights the bank’s keenness to launch and adopt numerous community development initiatives, which are a new addition to the series of efforts the bank has been making for years in the field of community service, contributing to supporting the state’s plans to achieve Egypt’s Vision 2030.
As for sports, the bank provided sponsorship and support to ranked athletes and participants in the 2024 Paris Olympics, including athletes and people with disabilities, as part of the fruitful cooperation between the bank and the Ministry of Youth and Sports.
The bank also sponsored the “30 Day Challenge” project for the third consecutive year, in cooperation with the Ministry of Youth and Sports, which comes as a continuation of a series of successful strategic partnerships that the bank has signed in recent years with many major sports bodies and institutions.
