As part of the Qodwa-Tech initiative for women’s empowerment, a specialized training program in artificial intelligence (AI) applications for digital marketing and e-commerce has been launched, targeting women entrepreneurs managing handmade and service-based projects.

The online training is delivered in four morning and evening classes, with a total of 21 hours spread over seven days at three hours per session.

The program covers the latest AI tools and applications that support digital marketing and e-commerce. It aims to enable women entrepreneurs to keep pace with rapid technological developments across digital platforms, services, and applications.

Participants are trained to integrate AI solutions into various aspects of their projects, including product development, customer analysis, content creation, and social media strategy. The curriculum introduces free AI-powered tools for producing video and audio content, analyzing marketing strategies, planning promotional campaigns, and designing innovative products. Trainees also explore the fundamentals of e-commerce, criteria for selecting the most suitable platforms, and the role of digital trade in scaling up small businesses globally.

In parallel, Qodwa-Tech has organized its third and fourth collaborative expertise exchange sessions, dedicated to women who have been recognized as top achievers in the initiative.

The third session focused on supply chains in the handicrafts sector. Delivered by a former program participant with experience in entrepreneurship development, the session offered insights into managing environmentally friendly and tech-aligned supply chains to help small projects grow and compete effectively.

The fourth session was presented by a jewelry designer and focused on using AI-based photo editing tools, particularly Photoroom. Participants were introduced to techniques for removing backgrounds, creating high-quality product images for e-commerce platforms, and developing visually compelling content for social media. The session also demonstrated how to combine images with varied backgrounds and visual effects to enhance product appeal and visibility.

Qodwa-Tech continues to contribute to the economic and social empowerment of women and girls from various governorates, particularly those engaged in handicraft and service sectors. The initiative offers targeted programs that strengthen digital skills in marketing, e-commerce, and AI, enabling participants to adapt to the evolving digital landscape and improve their competitiveness in both local and global markets.

Furthermore, the initiative regularly hosts collaborative sessions that facilitate knowledge exchange among entrepreneurs, allowing them to better respond to the requirements of digital transformation. To date, 75 women have been honored as top achievers through Qodwa-Tech’s activities over the years.
