The Housing and Development Bank won the “Excellence and Banking Achievement in Developing the Most Sustainable Business Environment for 2025” award from the International Union of Arab Bankers during the 11th Excellence and Banking Achievement Awards Ceremony for 2025 in Beirut -Lebanon, in the presence of an elite group of Arab banking sector leaders, international and regional figures and institutions.
The award was received by Hassan Ghanem, Chief Executive Officer and Managing Director of the Housing and Development Bank.
The award came as a culmination of the bank’s efforts to establish sustainability standards in its various operational activities, considering them a fundamental pillar of the bank’s new strategy for the period (2025-2030), given their pivotal role in supporting financial and banking stability and achieving sustainable development goals.
In this context, Ghanem expressed his pride in this honour, emphasising that his bank will continue to seize all promising opportunities and achieve further strong financial and operational results, based on the bank’s ambitious vision and clear focus on sustainable growth and expansion, and his firm belief in the bank’s ability to implement its objectives efficiently and flexibly, thereby strengthening its leading position as one of the largest comprehensive commercial banks in the Egyptian banking market
