EUI Maintains Global Impact Ranking for 2025, Advances in Three SDGs

Egypt University of Informatics (EUI) has maintained its position in the Times Higher Education (THE) University Impact Rankings 2025, securing a spot in the 1501+ category despite increased global competition. The rankings include 2,526 universities from 130 countries and territories, assessed based on their progress toward achieving the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).

Since its first inclusion in the rankings two years ago, EUI has consistently strengthened its contributions to the United Nations’ Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), reflecting its dedication to academic excellence and social impact. In the 2025 Impact Rankings, the university achieved the following results:

– SDG 3: Good Health and Well-being – Improved performance; now ranked 1501+

– SDG 5: Gender Equality – Advanced to the 801–1000 category

– SDG 8: Decent Work and Economic Growth – Improved ranking to 1001+

– SDG 4: Quality Education – Maintained position in the 1501+ category

– SDG 17: Partnerships for the Goals – Retained standing in the 1501+ category

These achievements are a testament to the university’s resilience and strategic focus on creating meaningful change. As it expands its academic and research initiatives, EUI continues to solidify its role in advancing sustainable development within the national and global higher education landscapes.
