Under Presidential Directives: ICT, Social Solidarity Ministers Instruct Financial Disbursement for Ramses Fire Victims Families, Injured

In response to the directives of President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi, Minister of Communications and Information Technology Amr Talaat and Minister of Social Solidarity Maya Morsy have instructed the disbursement of EGP 1.1 million to the families of the Telecom Egypt employees who lost their lives in the Ramses Telephone Exchange fire incident, and EGP 175,000 to injured individuals.

Moreover, Telecom Egypt will provide EGP 1 million to the families of each victim and EGP 150,000 to each injured person, according to the directives of the ICT Minister.

For her part, Morsy directed the Head of the Central Department of Social Protection at the Ministry of Social Solidarity to promptly follow up and take immediate action to disburse EGP 100,000 to the family of each victim and EGP 25,000 to the injured.

The two ministers extended their sincere condolences to the families of the victims, who are considered martyrs of duty, and wished a speedy recovery to the injured.
