The Information Technology Industry Development Agency (ITIDA) has announced the results of Round 37 of the Collaborative Funded Projects (CFP), a flagship program under the Information Technology Academia Collaboration (ITAC) initiative.
The initiative is designed to strengthen the link between academia and industry by supporting joint research and development efforts that respond to market needs and contribute to the growth of Egypt’s digital economy.
Following a rigorous evaluation process conducted by independent experts, three proposals have been selected for funding under this round. The projects, which reflect outstanding innovation and strong potential for industry impact, were formally approved by the ITAC Steering Committee in May.
Among the winning proposals is I-Hire: The Future of Recruitment, an Advanced Research Project (ARP) presented by BasharSoft in collaboration with Nile University’s School of Information Technology and Computer Science. Another selected project, Papyr: Transforming Document AI, is a Product Development Project (PDP) submitted by CIS Intelligence Solutions in partnership with the Faculty of Engineering at Cairo University. The third approved proposal, Design Optimization of BJAM 3D Printing Tech, is a Product Development Project by Robota Industries, in cooperation with the Faculty of Engineering at Ain Shams University.
These collaborations reflect ITIDA’s ongoing efforts to foster innovation through industry-academia synergies and to support the development of impactful technologies that align with national priorities in the ICT sector.
