by Ahmed Hassaan

Hilton (NYSE:HLT) and Middle East For Nile Cruisers announce the signing of Waldorf Astoria Nile River Experience, transforming how travellers discover Egypt’s most treasured landmarks. Designed to bring Waldorf Astoria’s signature elegant service to Africa’s longest and most renowned river, the experience will offer an enticing four and six-night itinerary, creating a timeless and enriching luxury escape.

The itinerary will see guests travel down-river from Luxor to Aswan or up-river from Aswan to Luxor, with private docks in both locations. Along the way, guests will be able to take in the grandeur of temples in Luxor and the Valley of the Kings, and many more cultural attractions in Esna, Edfu, Kom Ombo and Aswan – with each stop offering an extraordinary insight into Egypt’s rich history. Guests will enjoy true Waldorf Astoria service throughout the stay experience delivered by dedicated personal concierges.

The Waldorf Astoria Nile River Experience will feature five decks and 29 cabins, each providing a sophisticated and refined haven with breathtaking views.

Elevated amenities will feature throughout, with a state-of-the-art fitness centre and a spa. An array of thoughtfully curated and distinctive food and drink experiences will be offered including Waldorf Astoria’s signature Peacock Alley, a brasserie serving Egyptian, Mediterranean and international cuisine, and a rooftop deck – each reflecting the brand’s rich culinary mastery.

Dino Michael, senior vice president and global head, Hilton Luxury Brands, said, “Waldorf Astoria is in an incredible new era of luxury, creating unforgettable, immersive experiences in the most sought-after destinations. This year and beyond, the brand is set to define its global position with the anticipated opening of the legendary Waldorf Astoria New York, and debuting in destinations including the most recent openings in Osaka and Costa Rica, and into the future with Sydney, London, Jaipur and many more. This new destination experience offers guests a spectacular view of Egypt, and we look forward to welcoming guests aboard this one-of-a-kind experience when it launches next year.”

Hilton currently operates 14 hotels in Egypt and is set to triple its presence, including the debut of its lifestyle brands in the country. This latest signing marks another milestone in Hilton’s growth, reinforcing its commitment to delivering unrivalled hospitality experiences across the region.
