Egypt is hosting Seamless North Africa 2024 on September 2-3 in Cairo, under the theme “The Future of Digital Commerce across North Africa.” The event is organized in partnership with the League of Arab States (LAS) and the Arab Federation for Digital Economy.
Seamless North Africa is an event focused on the future of digital commerce, covering topics including payments, FinTech, banking, retail, and e-commerce.
It connects businesses in these fields with solution providers to explore advancements in the industry. The event is attended by experts from different countries and more than 250 exhibitors and SMEs.
Egypt Post is participating in Seamless North Africa to advance its digital transformation strategy and provide innovative services, with a focus on improving payment systems and supporting e-commerce.
During the event, Egypt Post is organizing a session on Bareedi, the digital postbox solution. The session is joined by officials from the Ministry of Communications and Information Technology (MCIT), EuroMed Postal Union (PUMed), and Banker’s Lounge Academy.
The session provides insights into Bareedi, a solution designed to facilitate secure and efficient communication between the public sector, private businesses, and Egyptian citizens through a single, sustainable, and spam-free digital platform. This service is part of Egypt Post’s efforts to provide a secure and reliable registered email service through a single application, enabling easy access to confidential personal data stored in the digital vault.
During the session, the advantages of Bareedi are highlighted, emphasizing its role in enabling government agencies across the country to securely communicate with each other and with citizens in an encrypted digital format for all data, documents, and certificates, ensuring the protection of personal information.
The session also reviews Egypt Post’s efforts to provide digital alternatives to traditional postal services, aiming to reduce the carbon footprint associated with the transportation and distribution of physical mail.
Egypt Post’s participation in Seamless North Africa reflects its commitment to enhancing communication and collaboration with financial institutions and start-ups in the Egyptian market. It also showcases the innovative services and solutions it offers to support the digital economy, financial inclusion, and e-commerce in Egypt while providing seamless, secure, and reliable digital services that benefit ministries, agencies, institutions, and companies, particularly start-ups.
